“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Matthew 6:25-34
Overwhelmed by all that you hear and see on the news? Don't let your heart be troubled. Turn it off!
Give it to God today...and every day. Ask God to go before you and fight the battle for you.
Our Lord is a warrior...Exodus 15:3
Use the time that you normally spend on social media and call out to the Father instead. Cut it off!
Can you imagine what God could have done if the large group of people who went to the capitol in desperation had instead dropped to their knees and cried out to God right there in front of the capitol? Can you imagine if we too...fell on our knees right where we were in solidarity. What would God have done?
This week...today...every day...give it to God! Fall on your knees and ask Him to go before you...ask Him to heal our great nation.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. John 14:1
