Encouragement Through Scripture

Good Monday Morning,

This morning, as I lay in bed talking with God, and seeking His will for today, I asked Him what to write this morning...what did He want each of you to hear today?

You should know that this is God's ministry...it is not mine. Somedays I feel very inadequate, I don't know what to write, I don't know what is on your hearts, I don't know what you are going through. But God knows and He is so very faithful!

I began this ministry because God laid a great burden upon my heart. A burden to lift up and encourage those who needed lifting up. This is His ministry...not mine. I am merely a vessel. I rely on Him completely. So, for better or worse, here I am.

As I prayed, God laid the same burden upon my heart...a burden for encouragement.

Romans 15:4 came to mind... "For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and "THROUGH THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF SCRIPTURES" we might have hope."

Scripture...of course! I love it when God has a plan!

With that said, here are some encouraging scriptures that I selected this morning. Written by God...written to lift you up...and to encourage you today!

"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing".1 Thessalonians 5:11

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near". Hebrews 10:24-25

"Therefore encourage one another with these words". 1 Thessalonians 4:18

My challenge for you today is to encourage one another. Post a word of encouragement on your Facebook page or a Facebook page that you follow. Encourage someone that you meet while you are out and about...a checker, a bank teller, a receptionist...or even a stranger. When we lift others up, we too are lifted up.

Have a beautiful, blessed day...filled with joy, love, and happiness! Be encouraged...because God is on the throne. I have prayed for you this morning. Seek, Serve and Surrender it all to the Lord...He loves you so very much!
