Pray! Intercede! Fight!

I am praying for each of you this morning. I know that God is going to do great things today.

I have seen some very creative ideas floating around concerning today. Some have chosen to take extra precautions and carry on, as usual. Some have chosen to take their services online. Some have decided that it is best to take the day off and some have decided to literally "preach from the rooftops"...and each of these choices are ok.

We must remember that each church is unique. We have our own unique situations, we have our own financial restrictions or freedoms, we have our own set of demographics. We have many deciding factors on how we handle the current situation that we find ourselves in today.

Just as the body has many parts...and they are all necessary to function correctly...the same is true with the church.

1 Corinthians 12:12-14 "There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ. We were all baptized by one Holy Spirit. And so we are formed into one body. It didn’t matter whether we were Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free people. We were all given the same Spirit to drink. So the body is not made up of just one part. It has many parts."

Many of you may be disappointed that your church has chosen to close their doors today...but don't be! TODAY...God has given you a unique opportunity...a unique mission!

The mission of a SOLDIER! The mission of a FIGHTER! The mission of an INTERCEDER! The mission of a "PRAYER WARRIOR."

ACCEPT THE MISSION...intercede for our leaders who are on the front lines today, intercede for our battlefields (our churches, our nation, our world!).

Intercede for those who are having to make tough decisions, those who are working tirelessly to find cures, those who work with logistics to provide for all of our needs, those who are stricken with illness, those who are taking care of the elderly and most vulnerable, those who have lost loved ones, those who have been separated from loved ones. Pray for peace, calmness and civility during the storm. PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!

"But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you." Matthew 6:6

I have prayed for each of you today! Go...serve Him boldly...no matter how you choose to do it!

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
